Russian-operated Peace Data Shut Down for Spreading Disinformation Using Fake Profiles

Moscow – Peace Data, a Russian-operated global news website, has recently deleted all news content and completely shut down its website. The site reportedly generated fake staff profiles through artificial intelligence (AI) that were then used to fraudulently hire global freelance writers to create content.  Peace Data’s site is no longer in operation but the domain remains active online.
